Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nereo Tohias took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Taltum FC's Franklin Polo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Garaona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 8th minute, Xines Herriaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Garaona was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Enrique Garaona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franklin Polo in the 11th minute. In the 18th minute Franklin Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Quilino to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Club Atletico Los Andes's Enrique Garaona got control of the ball when Ordóñez Cuesta tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Club Atletico Los Andes's Nereo Tohias in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Taltum FC's zone, Nereo Tohias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valencia Cifuentes came out of the goal and Nereo Tohias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taltum FC's Valencia Cifuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Tohias in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Xines Herriaga made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Celedonio Rivero hit a great ball. Enrique Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xines Herriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Tohias to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Xines Herriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Gilberto Munio got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Enrique Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xines Herriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Hernan Quilino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taltum FC the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Rivero to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Mellington Aniego was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taltum FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Los Andes the free kick. A hard shot by Gilberto Munio from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Valencia Cifuentes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Teodosio Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Taltum FC defense, Gilberto Munio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valencia Cifuentes. The Taltum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valencia Cifuentes should have stopped the shot. Nereo Tohias hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes Taltum FC got a freekick which was hit by Mellington Aniego. 86 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Tohias came free, but Valencia Cifuentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Xines Herriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mellington Aniego took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enrique Garaona. Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Atletico Los Andes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
