The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 11 minutes into the match, Echale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diogenis Kanelidis came free, but Cosme Reynardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diogenis Kanelidis struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Cosme Reynardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lipochσrion FC. Mariano Aztore charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Aztore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Echale FC's Mariano Aztore got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Dionysis Giannakoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cosme Reynardo came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Lipochσrion FC's Markos Fragatos. But to his dismay, Markos Fragatos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cosme Reynardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogenis Kanelidis in the 30th minute of play. Markos Fragatos charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markos Fragatos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Markos Fragatos kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Echale FC's Cosme Reynardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markos Fragatos in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Echale FC's Bernardino Ortle got a free kick in the 35th minute. Vassilis Mavrofridis kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Echale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dionysis Giannakoulis came free, but Cosme Reynardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Reynardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Kapetanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Dionysis Giannakoulis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cosme Reynardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Echale FC's Augusto Ourente was substituted for Primitivo Gonsalvo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diogenis Kanelidis to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Diogenis Kanelidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cosme Reynardo. That made the score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. When Lakis Kontosoros fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lipochσrion FC's protests and gave Lakis Kontosoros a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lipochσrion FC's Lakis Kontosoros got a free kick in the 61st minute. Lorenzo Bertol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dimitris Pirtsos. Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cosme Reynardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogenis Kanelidis in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Diogenis Kanelidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Reynardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Lipochσrion FC's Diogenis Kanelidis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cosme Reynardo. Cosme Reynardo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 80th minute, Augusto Ourente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Lipochσrion FC's Vassilis Kritikos tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Lawrence struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Dimitris Pirtsos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Echale FC. With a little luck, Echale FC's Cosme Reynardo got control of the ball when Dionysis Giannakoulis tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Pere in the 98th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Pirtsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Echale FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lipochσrion FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
