The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Americo Nahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frits Platvoet, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute of the match Carlos Nerio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ger Tollenaar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Danny Scheer's late challenge caught a AC Wild Broncos Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danny Scheer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Albertus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Scheer to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Albertus FC got a freekick which was hit by Frits Platvoet. Ger Tollenaar made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Carlos Nerio sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Frits Platvoet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albertus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in AC Wild Broncos Ψ's zone, Ted Kamps stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Nahia came out of the goal and Ted Kamps tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harm Bosschaart charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harm Bosschaart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Harm Bosschaart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th match minute, AC Wild Broncos Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Tibalt to maneuver through the defense. Danny Scheer kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frits Platvoet in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Nahia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harm Bosschaart was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Albertus FC's Maurice van Veldhuizen was substituted for Huub Adelaar. Harm Bosschaart hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frits Platvoet to strike the kick off in the second half. Kurt Hartlief hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the game, Albertus FC's Frank Heije nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Nahia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 57 minutes into the game, Frits Platvoet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Americo Nahia. Frits Platvoet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Ted Kamps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frits Platvoet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Nahia having to interfere. Frits Platvoet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Americo Nahia made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frits Platvoet got free with Americo Nahia in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Frits Platvoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Nahia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frits Platvoet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Americo Nahia came out and tried to block the shot, but Frits Platvoet slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 78th minute. Frits Platvoet took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Americo Nahia. Americo Nahia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 91 minutes into the game, Kurt Hartlief was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albertus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Wild Broncos Ψ the free kick. In the 91st minute, Kurt Hartlief hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Americo Nahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frits Platvoet in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of AC Wild Broncos Ψ booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Kamps didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertus FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
