The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joannes Neels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Ennegren in the 4th minute of play. Snett★inåt★bakåt were furious when Rickard Bremming was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Snett★inåt★bakåt getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rickard Bremming hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Stig-Ove Bryngelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joannes Neels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diederick Meulders took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harry Ahlberg. Harry Ahlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Joannes Neels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Ennegren in the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bacardi FC's zone, Olov Andreasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joannes Neels came out of the goal and Olov Andreasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joannes Neels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Andreasson in the 29th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Staffan Ennegren came free, but Joannes Neels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joannes Neels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Harry Ahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diederick Meulders in the 41st minute of play. Snett★inåt★bakåt's Harry Ahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diederick Meulders in the 42nd minute of play. Snett★inåt★bakåt's Staffan Ennegren got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Staffan Ennegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joannes Neels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Andreasson came free, but Joannes Neels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Bacardi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Verhoeven to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Kuse took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joannes Neels. Bacardi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diederick Meulders was the one to do the kick off. Staffan Ennegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bacardi FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Olov Andreasson 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Andreasson in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joannes Neels saved Bacardi FC from getting behind. Joannes Neels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Andreasson went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Bacardi FC's zone, Karl-Åke Biörk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joannes Neels came out of the goal and Karl-Åke Biörk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Andrew Van Baerlem hit a great ball. Joannes Neels made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Hugo Kuse sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Karl-Åke Biörk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joannes Neels. The goal made the score 2-3. Snett★inåt★bakåt's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
