The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Bartoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Maximino Xacintu came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the GERLIROJO Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Xacintu couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Abadie was a little too slow when Artur Branco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 29th minute Chico Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Monsalve in the 30th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Gustavo Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, one of Lobo Guará:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lobo Guará. Roberto Baiano had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Teofilo Maiorga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 34 minutes into the game, GERLIROJO Ψ's Teofilo Maiorga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Baiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Chico Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gustavo Abadie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Albertinho Leite got a free kick in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Gustavo Abadie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Monsalve in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Severo Vachon. Gustavo Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Monsalve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Monsalve in the 56th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Gustavo Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tiburcio Oskitz fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GERLIROJO Ψ's protests and gave Tiburcio Oskitz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Oskitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Monsalve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Artur Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Vachon hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The Lobo Guará fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Lobo Guará's Artur Branco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to GERLIROJO Ψ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Arnaldo Gaueko hit a great ball. Artur Branco struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Gustavo Abadie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobo Guará. In the 80th minute, Severo Vachon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Miguel Monsalve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Monsalve in the 86th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Gustavo Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Lartaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Lobo Guará were the better team. Lobo Guará's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
