Ramazan Bilgiç made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Faas Marsal sent off a good shot on target. Oscar Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramazan Bilgiç having to make a save. Ramazan Bilgiç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Guimarães in the 17th minute of the match. The long shot by Manoel Botelho in the 18th minute really tested Ramazan Bilgiç's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Oscar Prestes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramazan Bilgiç. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play.
