Arnold Petřek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Muharrem Baytekin got a free kick in the 6th minute. With his leg Arnold Petřek managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Eray Sefer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 14 minutes into the game, Josef Slepička was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kopeto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ the free kick. A collision led to FC Kopeto getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Josef Slepička hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eray Sefer in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Petřek saved FC Kopeto from getting behind. 22 minutes into the game, Josef Winkler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Şemsettin Tanaltay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Kopeto's Arnold Petřek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kopeto from getting a goal against them. Eray Sefer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Arnold Petřek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zülfikar Akgöl hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Miroslav Koňařík ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şemsettin Tanaltay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ booed when FC Kopeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirko Branda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Eray Sefer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's supporters rose to their feet, but Eray Sefer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnold Petřek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute of the match, Eray Sefer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnold Petřek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eray Sefer had several of the FC Kopeto's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Arnold Petřek as he didn't even see the shot coming. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eray Sefer made a kick off. FC Kopeto were furious when Mirko Branda was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Arnold Petřek had in the 52ndth minute some difficulties stopping Mehmet Efe Vefik's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 55th play minutes Eray Sefer shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Arnold Petřek and just under the crossbar into goal. After 58 minutes, Eray Sefer made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Kopeto's Arnold Petřek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Kopeto's Alexander Cupal got a free kick in the 66th minute. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ made a substitution. Umut Ortun replaced Olgun Vehbi. In the 68th minute, Alexander Cupal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eray Sefer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnold Petřek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Winkler in the 70th minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tanaltay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ömer Rıza Zeyrek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnold Petřek. FC Kopeto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Libor Litera charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Libor Litera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes FC Kopeto got a freekick which was hit by Libor Litera. 82 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Winkler came free, but Şemsettin Tanaltay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnold Petřek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eray Sefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Josef Winkler fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kopeto's protests and gave Josef Winkler a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eray Sefer in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Petřek saved FC Kopeto from getting behind. Arnold Petřek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eray Sefer in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, FC Kopeto's goal looked a bit too open when Baturhan Harmanda came free, but Arnold Petřek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes, Süreyya Kıvanç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ and the FC Kopeto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Süreyya Kıvanç kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After 98th play minutes Eray Sefer shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Arnold Petřek and just under the crossbar into goal. The Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
