In the 18th minute, Gerardo Chico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Gualterio Larra made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Arnas. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Martin Columbo hit a great ball. Pastor Frichoso charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pastor Frichoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Benjamin Arnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Cai in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Eibar 09-12-18 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Marcelo Ignado hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match, Felipe Cerilo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Urbano Tono saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Benjamin Arnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Cai to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dionisio Llanos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Arnas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 56th minute Gualterio Larra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Arnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Tono having to interfere.
