The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luca Prodan charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Prodan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when Psycho-Circus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Prodan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, Gracie Barra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valério Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Jakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when Psycho-Circus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oséias Aguiar scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Jakes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leopoldo Queirós showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Reynaldo Iratze fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Psycho-Circus's protests and gave Reynaldo Iratze a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Reynaldo Iratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Jakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Prodan in the 33rd minute of play. Leopoldo Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Lehior in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Psycho-Circus's Reynaldo Iratze got a free kick in the 37th minute. Reynaldo Iratze hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when Psycho-Circus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Lehior didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match João Adolfo Ferraz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Jakes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 47 minutes of play Gracie Barra's Valério Maranhense was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Baltazar de Amorim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emiliano Jakes. That made the score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Edmílson Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gracie Barra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Psycho-Circus the free kick. Cristian Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Leopoldo Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmílson Bastos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Emiliano Jakes made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Psycho-Circus's Reynaldo Iratze got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Psycho-Circus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Cheche to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes Psycho-Circus got a freekick which was hit by Luca Prodan. In the 81st minute, Luca Prodan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Psycho-Circus booed when Gracie Barra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Prodan struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Leopoldo Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Psycho-Circus. Leopoldo Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Cordarell in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aílton Mota in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Jakes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 95 played minutes Gracie Barra got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Xavier. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gracie Barra walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
