Brian Örnberg started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Cordarell in the 3rd minute of play forced Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Bennvar Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bennvar Buffon was a little too slow when Luca Prodan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-1. A collision led to Real Södertälje getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Christer Moberg hit a great ball. Joar Tunström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emiliano Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Marcones's late challenge caught a Real Södertälje's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Marcones helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Psycho-Circus got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Marcones. Humberto Cordarell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Bennvar Buffon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Donato Fix hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Psycho-Circus's Emiliano Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joar Tunström in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Cordarell to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Real Södertälje's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Iratze came free, but Bennvar Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Real Södertälje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Forssberg to maneuver through the defense. Luca Prodan might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bennvar Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luca Prodan ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Humberto Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Psycho-Circus's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Cordarell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bennvar Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Siggman in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Real Södertälje booed when Psycho-Circus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Marcones didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Psycho-Circus got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Marcones. After a rather tough play, Real Södertälje's Harald Kjellman got a free kick in the 84th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Donato Fix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Psycho-Circus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Fix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Brian Örnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Brian Örnberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emiliano Jakes. That made the score 1-2 in the 94 minute of play. Real Södertälje played a much better game than Psycho-Circus and deserved their victory. The Psycho-Circus players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
