Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Herwig Fehr started the match with the kick off. David Tamm hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Maik Schmeltzer hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, FC BaLiSt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Corbeanu to maneuver through the defense. Gerald Zapf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Irod in the 10th minute of the match. If Herwig Fehr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerald Zapf was a little too slow when Pompiliu Lechințan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Gerald Zapf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Floreanu in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Jerome Bozkurt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Bad Harzburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC BaLiSt the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Jerome Bozkurt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herwig Fehr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Zahnleiter hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Mircea Irod took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gerald Zapf to make any attempt to save it. SV Bad Harzburg's Gerald Zapf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save SV Bad Harzburg from getting a goal against them. In the 38th play minute Ionuț Vizitiu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gerald Zapf. 3-0. With a little luck, SV Bad Harzburg's Gerald Zapf got control of the ball when Pompiliu Lechințan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's David Tamm got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gerald Zapf came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FC BaLiSt's Pompiliu Lechințan. But to his dismay, Pompiliu Lechințan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudiu Floreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Pompiliu Lechințan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerald Zapf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Floreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerald Zapf was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Mircea Irod hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SV Bad Harzburg defense, Ionuț Vizitiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerald Zapf. The SV Bad Harzburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerald Zapf should have stopped the shot. SV Bad Harzburg's Gerald Zapf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Floreanu in the 65th minute of play. Gerald Zapf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Floreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Jerome Bozkurt was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 70th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerome Bozkurt to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Claudiu Floreanu sped through SV Bad Harzburg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gerald Zapf. 75 minutes into the game, FC BaLiSt's Pompiliu Lechințan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerald Zapf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After 80 played minutes FC BaLiSt got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Irod. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when FC BaLiSt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Floreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the SV Bad Harzburg defense, Pompiliu Lechințan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerald Zapf. The SV Bad Harzburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerald Zapf should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Floreanu in the 95th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Gerald Zapf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
