Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Franco Mussoll kicked off to start the match. Ubaldo Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Pero in the 6th minute of play forced Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Danilo Villafane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Racing Club's Ezequiel Pero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danilo Villafane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 13 minutes, Ezequiel Pero made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Danilo Villafane tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Quirze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Mussoll in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Inter de Guayaquil FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Maximiliano Sabando hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Franco Mussoll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Guayaquil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Mussoll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Quirze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 minutes of play, Racing Club's Angelo Sayvion made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Villafane was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 33 minutes Inter de Guayaquil FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Felipo who took care of the corner kick. Damian Quirze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camacho Goiri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Sayvion to maneuver through the defense. When Racing Club's Ezequiel Pero in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Sayvion made a kick off. Damian Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Mussoll in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camacho Goiri in the 59th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Damian Quirze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Ezequiel Pero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Pero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Angelo Sayvion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Sayvion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Villafane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Quirze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Mussoll, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Roque Mora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Cristobal Nerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Guayaquil FC the free kick. The supporters of Inter de Guayaquil FC booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Nerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Racing Club's Damian Quirze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camacho Goiri in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Camacho Goiri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Guayaquil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Camacho Goiri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Quirze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Nerio was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cristobal Nerio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Damian Quirze came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Guayaquil FC's Franco Mussoll. But to his dismay, Franco Mussoll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5.
