After 8 minutes, Dorin Dumitru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tractorul Satulung -MM- and the Käka Puck BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tractorul Satulung -MM- getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Dorin Dumitru hit a great ball. Peter Lövgren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nechifor Gheție. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Tractorul Satulung -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Horațiu to maneuver through the defense. Nechifor Gheție took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casper Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Wickander came free, but Nechifor Gheție reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nechifor Gheție showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Odin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Nechifor Gheție made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Roy Ström sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Käka Puck BK's Nechifor Gheție threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Allan Odin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Florín Răducioiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Cezar Mergea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gösta Carlsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven-Ove Wickander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Gheție having to interfere. Roy Ström scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nechifor Gheție, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Ström got free with Nechifor Gheție in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nechifor Gheție showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Wickander, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute of the match, Roy Ström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nechifor Gheție was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a little luck, Käka Puck BK's Gösta Carlsson got control of the ball when Eliodor Pușcariu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Sven-Ove Wickander notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Nechifor Gheție. Nechifor Gheție was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute Allan Odin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Gheție saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
