A collision led to Leripe Lifestyle getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Chicão Silva hit a great ball. Leripe Lifestyle were furious when Rodriguinho Pires was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Leripe Lifestyle:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saronida FC:s goal. 14 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's Manos Taganikas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Carlos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Zézinho Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Leripe Lifestyle booed when Saronida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentinos Semeloglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Giannis Psaridis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leripe Lifestyle's Zé Carlos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saronida FC's Manos Taganikas got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Giannis Psaridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazaros Theofilakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Zézinho Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Zézinho Pontes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Saronida FC's Lazaros Theofilakos. Lazaros Theofilakos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Giannis Psaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zézinho Pontes was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Arthur Zico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lazaros Theofilakos, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zézinho Pontes got free with Lazaros Theofilakos in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lazaros Theofilakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Velloso in the 60th minute of play. Erasmo Velloso struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Lazaros Theofilakos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leripe Lifestyle. Kyriakos Patemtzis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Arthur Zico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lazaros Theofilakos. That made the score 1-3 in the 85 minute of play. Leripe Lifestyle's Maurício Quadros was substituted for Chicão Silva. In the 93rd minute, Leripe Lifestyle's Zézinho Pontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. When the match was over Leripe Lifestyle could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Saronida FC throughout the match.
