Jan-Joost Smeekes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 孙克雄, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 贺卫青 in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Seagulls's Meindert Popping got a free kick in the 5th minute. Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孙克雄 in the 7th minute of play. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 贺卫青 in the 9th minute of play. 贺卫青 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Talsma in the 13th minute of play forced 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部's goalkeeper 李天博 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurt Schröer hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Meindert Popping fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seagulls's protests and gave Meindert Popping a yellow card for diving instead. Meindert Popping hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes, 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部's 孔宁亦 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部 reached it. 19 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when 贺卫青 came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, 贺卫青 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Joost Smeekes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 24th minute, Rogier Veninga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralf Talsma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 李天博 came out and tried to block the shot, but Ralf Talsma slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. If 于鸿文 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孙克雄 in the 31st minute of play. Jan-Joost Smeekes came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部's 贺卫青. But to his dismay, 贺卫青 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 于鸿文 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jan-Joost Smeekes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Joost Smeekes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 崔渊剑 went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when 黄帆克 came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Seagulls booed when 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. 孔宁亦 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Carsten Klaasens fired a really elegant long shot, but 李天博 threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ralf Talsma to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, 贺卫青 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan-Joost Smeekes, 1-4. 贺卫青 scored 1-5 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute of the match, 崔渊剑 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan-Joost Smeekes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Seagulls's Carsten Klaasens got a free kick in the 65th minute. 崔渊剑 might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Joost Smeekes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 崔渊剑 ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部's 崔渊剑 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan-Joost Smeekes. That made the score 1-7 after 75 minutes of play. In the 80th minute, 孙克雄 made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Seagulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. 孙克雄 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Jan-Joost Smeekes made a huge save. Jan-Joost Smeekes was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and 贺卫青 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 贺卫青 really showed his touch with that goal: 1-9. The Seagulls fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
