Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Márcio Berger quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Olavo Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Donatello in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Jundiaí -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Hermes. Olavo Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 12 minutes of play Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Edmundo Hermes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 12th match minute, Jundiaí -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Hermes to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes, Red John S.K's Nilmar Berger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olavo Diniz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Red John S.K reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Zonta in the 16th minute of play forced Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Olavo Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Jundiaí -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Berger. In the 22nd match minute, Jundiaí -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Toscano to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Nilmar Berger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo Diniz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Olavo Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Olavo Diniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Dalmo Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmo Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Olavo Diniz made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Red John S.K walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
