Rodriguinho Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Alberto Figueiredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Octavio Raymond. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Montes in the 33rd minute of play forced MALZBIER's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of MALZBIER booed when Unidad de Matanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Melchor Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
