The supporters of Olympiacos FC booed when Olympique Deleon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Kostas Tziolas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kléber Lira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Ronaldão da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Olympiacos FC's Kostas Tziolas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Conrado Cosme hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Olympiacos FC's Kostas Tziolas tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Kléber Lira made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Viktoras Papoutsatos sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Olympique Deleon's David Beckham Jr got a free kick in the 29th minute. Fondas Kalantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão da Rocha in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Olympique Deleon's Kléber Lira got control of the ball when Kostas Tziolas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Viktoras Papoutsatos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kléber Lira. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of Olympique Deleon booed when Olympiacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spyros Fotakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Olympiacos FC's zone, Natanael Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fondas Kalantas came out of the goal and Natanael Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Passos came free, but Fondas Kalantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléber Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avraam Chalkias, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Kléber Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avraam Chalkias in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Spyros Fotakis during the 70th minute. Natanael Vale was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kléber Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Tziolas in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Viktoras Papoutsatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olympique Deleon's Kléber Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktoras Papoutsatos in the 84th minute of play. Fondas Kalantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Eugenios Papafotopoulos got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Olympique Deleon's Oséas Nogueira made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fondas Kalantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 93 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Viktoras Papoutsatos. Olympiacos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Olympique Deleon for a fine match.
