Lucrețiu Roşculeţ kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Codrin Encica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rex Morley in the 3rd minute. After 6 played minutes Lisburn Distillery F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ken Harrison. Andrew Coyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Floroiu in the 9th minute of the match. Narcis Purcaru hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Narcis Purcaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club 23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lisburn Distillery F.C. the free kick. After 13 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Purcaru. After a defensive mix-up in Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s zone, Berea Ion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrew Coyle came out of the goal and Berea Ion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrew Coyle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cătălin Ticulescu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Ticulescu in the 46th minute of play forced Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goalkeeper Andrew Coyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Lisburn Distillery F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jack Dyson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berea Ion in the 54th minute of play forced Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goalkeeper Andrew Coyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Rex Morley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rex Morley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrew Coyle made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cazimir Floroiu sent off a good shot on target. Andrew Coyle was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cătălin Ticulescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Narcis Purcaru got a free kick in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cazimir Floroiu got free with Andrew Coyle in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berea Ion's late challenge caught a Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berea Ion helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Berea Ion got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Club 23 booed when Lisburn Distillery F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Holt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cătălin Ticulescu's late challenge caught a Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cătălin Ticulescu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Cătălin Ticulescu got a free kick in the 77th minute. Club 23 made a substitution. Manole Cioroianu replaced Constantin Stelian. In the 78th minute, Cătălin Ticulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berea Ion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrew Coyle having to interfere. Berea Ion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Andrew Coyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lisburn Distillery F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club 23's performance. The match ended with a win for Club 23.
