The supporters of Palloketut booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kale Mcinnis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rami Lehto in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corder Clubley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ed Howard came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Elderslie Magpies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ed Howard couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Elderslie Magpies's Ed Howard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jari Lehtinen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Corder Clubley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aku Welling in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Antti Furuholm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palloketut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elderslie Magpies the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Palloketut:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Elderslie Magpies:s goal. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Elderslie Magpies. Brad Missen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jari Lehtinen. 0-2. When Eevert Hati fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palloketut's protests and gave Eevert Hati a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Eevert Hati. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kale Mcinnis during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kale Mcinnis to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Topi Porokara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Corder Clubley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iisakki Niinimaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corder Clubley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alpi Askolin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Corder Clubley came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Palloketut's Rami Lehto. But to his dismay, Rami Lehto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Corder Clubley was a little too slow when Rami Lehto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-2. Raleigh Dale's late challenge caught a Palloketut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raleigh Dale helped the player get up and apologised. Aku Welling in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Corder Clubley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brad Missen was the one to do the kick off. Byron Osbiston kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eevert Hati in the 55th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Corder Clubley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Rami Lehto came free, but Corder Clubley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iisakki Niinimaa hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Corder Clubley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aku Welling went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Aku Welling's late challenge caught a Elderslie Magpies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aku Welling helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rami Lehto in the 74th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Corder Clubley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Rami Lehto came free, but Corder Clubley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Aku Welling. After 81 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Veikka Salminen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rami Lehto in the 83rd minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Corder Clubley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Eevert Hati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corder Clubley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ed Howard charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ed Howard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Martin Bailey hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Topi Porokara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corder Clubley came out of the goal and Topi Porokara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Kale Mcinnis hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the game, Palloketut's Eevert Hati nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corder Clubley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Palloketut fully deserved thier win.
