The throw-in from Veikka Salminen in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AC LeX Luthor's Uriel Elazar. 17 minutes into the match, Rami Lehto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Gagriel. AC LeX Luthor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rami Lehto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 21st minute, Alpi Askolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Hotz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jari Lehtinen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Veikka Salminen made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Iisakki Niinimaa however managed to control. Rami Lehto took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Gagriel. Iker Gagriel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 31st minute Aku Welling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Gagriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Inge was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. The referee gave Palloketut a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Topi Porokara, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC LeX Luthor's Iker Gagriel. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rami Lehto in the 37th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Iker Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braulio Hotz took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jari Lehtinen. Jari Lehtinen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Iker Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aku Welling in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

58 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Rami Lehto came free, but Iker Gagriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aku Welling in the 59th minute of play. Iker Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rami Lehto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Iker Gagriel got control of the ball when Eevert Hati tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Iker Gagriel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the AC LeX Luthor defense, Eevert Hati kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Gagriel. The AC LeX Luthor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Gagriel should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Aku Welling kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iker Gagriel. That made the score 2-5 in the 81 minute of play. Veikka Salminen made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AC LeX Luthor's Jesus Tonio. In the 86th minute, Jesus Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eevert Hati might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Gagriel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eevert Hati ran back to his position shaking his head. When Palloketut's Rami Lehto, in the 90th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Palloketut. Palloketut's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
