The Palloketut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jari Lehtinen should have stopped the shot. Olliver Todman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Australian Youth Academy's Archie Ashby was substituted for Neville Schutt. Jari Lehtinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Todman in the 16th minute of play. Jari Lehtinen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olliver Todman went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olliver Todman in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jari Lehtinen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jari Lehtinen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olliver Todman's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With an all-out effort, Palloketut's Ollie Flesfadar threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rami Lehto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rami Lehto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Palloketut getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eevert Hati hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Berkeley Glover cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jari Lehtinen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dakota Gaffigan took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jari Lehtinen. Jari Lehtinen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olliver Todman in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jari Lehtinen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olliver Todman made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Olliver Todman could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Jari Lehtinen however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olliver Todman got free with Jari Lehtinen in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Olliver Todman hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Casper Keato. After a defensive mix-up in Palloketut's zone, Olliver Todman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jari Lehtinen came out of the goal and Olliver Todman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Palloketut booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dakota Gaffigan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Rami Lehto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ollie Flesfadar was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Olliver Todman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Jari Lehtinen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 70th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Ashby to maneuver through the defense. Olliver Todmans short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Jari Lehtinen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Olliver Todman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Jari Lehtinen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Jari Lehtinen managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Australian Youth Academy's Olliver Todman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Berkeley Glover took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jari Lehtinen. Jari Lehtinen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Australian Youth Academy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
