Everett Kiel kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Club 23's Gigel Căliman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ollie Flesfadar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Cazimir Floroiu came free, but Ollie Flesfadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucrețiu Roşculeţ lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After some careless play in the Club 23 defense, Olliver Todman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codrin Encica. The Club 23 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codrin Encica should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Berkeley Glover sped through Club 23's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Codrin Encica. Braedan Duncan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Australian Youth Academy's Olliver Todman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Codrin Encica. That made the score 4-0 after 47 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gigel Căliman made a kick off. Olliver Todman scored 5-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codrin Encica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club 23's Iulian Cristache was substituted for Gelu Mineață. Berkeley Glover received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Codrin Encica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Keato to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Club 23 booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dani Odd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club 23's Manole Cioroianu was substituted for Constantin Stelian. In the 79th minute, Dani Odd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar got control of the ball when Iulian Cristache tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Dakota Gaffigan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Australian Youth Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club 23 the free kick. After 88 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Dakota Gaffigan. Ollie Flesfadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Căliman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Club 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Cioroianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Australian Youth Academy were the better team. Australian Youth Academy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
