The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gildo da Fonseca's late challenge caught a Coventry Wasps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gildo da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. Gildo da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Coventry Wasps's Greg Corcoran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basílio Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Victor da Fonseca put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dylan Bartlett. Basílio Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Blakeley in the 13th minute of play. AS Pikachuzim's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Ronnie Blakeley scored to the left of an out of position Basílio Trigo, making the score, 2-1. Basílio Trigo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Lucas Bridgewater sent off a good shot on target. Coventry Wasps were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after AS Pikachuzim's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Greg Corcoran took the corner. Bruce Roche struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Basílio Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coventry Wasps. Dylan Bartlett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor da Fonseca in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor da Fonseca in the 32nd minute of play forced Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Dylan Bartlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Kevin Pilgrim hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Vinnie Smith got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 43rd play minutes Evandro Varela shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Dylan Bartlett and just under the crossbar into goal. Coventry Wasps's Dylan Bartlett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Maia in the 46th minute of play. Dylan Bartlett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Varela in the 47th minute of the match.

When Evandro Varela fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AS Pikachuzim's protests and gave Evandro Varela a yellow card for diving instead. Coventry Wasps's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Victor da Fonseca scored to the left of an out of position Dylan Bartlett, making the score, 2-3. A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Vinnie Smith hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Victor da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Pikachuzim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The Coventry Wasps supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AS Pikachuzim's performance. The match ended with a win for AS Pikachuzim.
