Peder Boklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Gnuville BK's Mattias Nyman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gábor Vadas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Hans Runeberg kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gnuville BK's zone, Dávid Ambrus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peder Boklund came out of the goal and Dávid Ambrus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gábor Vadas was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Mattias Nyman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mattias Nyman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pál Fülöp in the 36th minute of play forced Gnuville BK's goalkeeper Peder Boklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Rákóczifalva SE's Félix Pénzes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peder Boklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Rutger Offendahl could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Gábor Vadas however easily saved by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Mattias Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gábor Vadas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Nyman in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rutger Offendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gnuville BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rutger Offendahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gábor Vadas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 61 minutes, Félix Pénzes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rákóczifalva SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Félix Pénzes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilmos Horváth's late challenge caught a Gnuville BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilmos Horváth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Dávid Ambrus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
