When Nicanor Florian came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Florian couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, Gilberto Esdras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Northmen Army the free kick. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Gilberto Esdras got a free kick in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Göran Falck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zeledon Hitz, 1-0. Zeledon Hitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Falck, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Göran Falck scored to the left of an out of position Zeledon Hitz, making the score, 2-0. Lino Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Skarkman having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Sandström got free with Zeledon Hitz in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Kent Sandström scored to the left of an out of position Zeledon Hitz, making the score, 3-0. In the 44th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Esdras to maneuver through the defense. Göran Falck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Zeledon Hitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicanor Florian made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Sandström in the 53rd minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Zeledon Hitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Gauargi to maneuver through the defense. Stig Lindqvist took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Hitz. Zeledon Hitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Zeledon Hitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Dahlman in the 61st minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Anselmo Qwinton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Lorenzo de Sarandi and the The Northmen Army players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anselmo Qwinton kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, The Northmen Army's Stig Lindqvist got a free kick in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Ritchie in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Skarkman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute Melquiades Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Skarkman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute Vilgot Dahlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Hitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Demesio charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Demesio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Demesio kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Zeledon Hitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Lindqvist in the 88th minute of play. Cesar Ritchie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Skarkman. The Northmen Army's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, The Northmen Army's Stig Lindqvist made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Hitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cesar Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Northmen Army fully deserved thier win.
