Celso Luz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Zane Beadle didn't quite understand what happened when in the 19 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The audience was convinced that Freddy Friebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso Luz was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 22nd match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Rocha to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Team Pogba's Zane Beadle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. In the 37thth minute of the game Freddy Friebe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C.PAULISTA's Celso Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celso Luz came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Team Pogba's Freddy Friebe. But to his dismay, Freddy Friebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Chesney Eubank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Friebe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Chesney Eubank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team Pogba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C.PAULISTA the free kick. A collision led to Team Pogba getting a freekick after 71 minutes play.
