Bazellatin F.C. were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Defensores de Fasano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thodoris Diamantidis took the corner. Marcial Opilano kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Louis Theofilopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoros Tsartsikidis to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Xacintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stratos Savouras in the 18th minute. Stratos Savouras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Esteve Xacintu made a huge save. After 25 minutes, Stratos Savouras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bazellatin F.C. and the Defensores de Fasano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Bazellatin F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Savouras. In the 26th minute, Eloy Gimenez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Fasano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 29th play minute Theofanis Dilberis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Esteve Xacintu. 1-1. In the 34th match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelios Antonatos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Defensores de Fasano getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rafael Caton hit a great ball. Christos Skalidis kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Defensores de Fasano's Marcial Opilano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Louis Theofilopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After 44 played minutes Defensores de Fasano got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Raphael. Theofanis Dilberis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Bazellatin F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Defensores de Fasano were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stratos Savouras was the one to do the kick off. If Theofanis Dilberis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Theofilopoulos was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Marcial Opilano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcial Opilano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 59th match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Savouras to maneuver through the defense. Louis Theofilopoulos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eloy Gimenez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 65 minute of play. Louis Theofilopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Tono in the 69th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Stathis Rasoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Savouras in the 75th minute of play forced Defensores de Fasano's goalkeeper Esteve Xacintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Xacintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theofanis Dilberis, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Isidoros Tsartsikidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Opilano got free with Louis Theofilopoulos in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Louis Theofilopoulos was a little too slow when Bernardino Olando got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Defensores de Fasano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
