Charalambos Anastasakos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Bazellatin F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Powiśle Warszawa:s goal. The goalkeeper, Louis Theofilopoulos, was totally fooled by Powiśle Warszawa's Damazy Prosowski, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Stathis Rasoulis got a free kick in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radowit Smolarek got free with Louis Theofilopoulos in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Stelios Antonatos got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bazellatin F.C.'s zone, Damazy Prosowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis Theofilopoulos came out of the goal and Damazy Prosowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radomil Haszczak hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 25th match minute, Powiśle Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Mockiewicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Leonard Dziewedik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Haszczak in the 28th minute of play forced Bazellatin F.C.'s goalkeeper Louis Theofilopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Powiśle Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Witold Mockiewicz. Bogdan Zatorski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stratos Savouras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Louis Theofilopoulos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 41st play minute Radomil Haszczak came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Louis Theofilopoulos. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witold Fiszer got free with Louis Theofilopoulos in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Witold Fiszer to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Powiśle Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Dziewedik. 60 minutes into the game, Witold Mockiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Powiśle Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bazellatin F.C. the free kick. In the 60th minute, Witold Mockiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thalis Sapakis kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Ignacy Kieca made a precise shot to the right of Louis Theofilopoulos. Bazellatin F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Louis Theofilopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Haszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Witold Fiszer fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Powiśle Warszawa's protests and gave Witold Fiszer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Witold Fiszer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Radowit Smolarek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Louis Theofilopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Louis Theofilopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Posadzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Louis Theofilopoulos came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Powiśle Warszawa's Ignacy Kieca. But to his dismay, Ignacy Kieca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Radowit Smolarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Powiśle Warszawa had won after a very even match.
