Evandro Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Lazaro Meja made a huge save. Ademar Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lazaro Meja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Evandro Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Mendana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Evandro Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frantxizko Reboyras in the 18th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Kwyjibo got a freekick which was hit by Urtungo Campa. In the 22nd minute, Severino Mendana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joao Pajazo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Frantxizko Reboyras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Evandro Mattos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The attack was good, but when Urtungo Campa in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Urtungo Campa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtungo Campa in the 46th minute of play forced Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Evandro Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Urtungo Campa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evandro Mattos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Macedo made a kick off. Ademar Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lazaro Meja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Lazaro Meja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulysses Esteves went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Laércio Trevisan charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laércio Trevisan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caco da Costa during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Severino Mendana came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Kwyjibo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Mendana couldn't finish the play. Paulo Macedo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 89 minutes, Ademar Cavalcante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aesir FC FSCMZ and the Kwyjibo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Ademar Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Kwyjibo fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Kwyjibo's Severino Mendana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kwyjibo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
