After 3 played minutes Deportivo Pomelo Nenene got a freekick which was hit by Damian Damario. In the 6th match minute, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Silvino to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Esben Bengtsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ariel Nel didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene defense, Rubert Budde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Nel. The Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Nel should have stopped the shot. If Andrea Brejnebøl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. F.C. København's Tue Wraa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. København from getting a goal against them. In the 27th match minute, F.C. København was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åge Strøjer to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinhard Vassing in the 30th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Ciriaco Eutropio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tue Wraa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bøje Engelfelt in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 played minutes F.C. København got a freekick which was hit by Thor Nersling. Cleto Indalecio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tue Wraa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Valentin Aureo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tue Wraa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Aureo ran back to his position shaking his head. Ariel Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Brejnebøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute of the match, Andrea Brejnebøl tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ariel Nel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 66th minute, Feliciano Silvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match, Bøje Engelfelt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ariel Nel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 75 minutes into the game, Ian Mauger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ariel Nel. Ian Mauger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Cleto Indalecio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Åge Strøjer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Godfredo Montel came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Montel couldn't finish the play. Valentin Aureo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. F.C. København played a much better game than Deportivo Pomelo Nenene and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Pomelo Nenene players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
