Dion Jefferies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tevfik Baykır, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Gökhan Canbek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CaPLooNBa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carlisle United the free kick. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fikri Zorbey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 75th minute of the match Martyn Heslop completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Martyn Heslop a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 76th match minute, Carlisle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martyn Heslop to maneuver through the defense. Dion Jefferies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdeniz Merdan in the 84th minute of the match.
