Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Remo Borges took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Gorbea got free with Pedro Luís Fernandez in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorato Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Jonatan Gregory got a free kick in the 14th minute. Hector Maxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Leonardo Vides hit a great ball. Lorenzo Gentza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Vides in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tião Vieira during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 29 minutes into the game, one of Marzagão:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Donato Gorbea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pedro Luís Fernandez made a huge save. Leonardo Vides hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Donato Gorbea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Luís Fernandez was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Pedrinho Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Hector Maxin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ★Independiente Ψ★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Pedro Luís Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Gorbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Gorbea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Honorato Taurino notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez. Marzagão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★Independiente Ψ★ the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luís Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Gorbea in the 71st minute of play. Jonatan Gregory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Gregory came free, but Pedro Luís Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Gregory in the 83rd minute of play.
