The crowd rose to their feet as Fabiano de Queiroz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cássio Gaspar. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Gilberto Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Nunes in the 16th minute of play. Fabiano de Queiroz in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cássio Gaspar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 23 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Vides. After 24 played minutes, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Pedro Paulo Correia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS reached it. Neil Mar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cássio Gaspar came out and tried to block the shot, but Neil Mar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. César Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's César Rosa got a free kick in the 34th minute. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Cássio Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Mar in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, André Luís Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Neil Mar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Saraiva hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Marzagão made a substitution. Remo Borges replaced Leonardo Vides. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cássio Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano de Queiroz in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Marzagão booed when ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Luís Nunes during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's André Luís Nunes got a free kick in the 64th minute. André Luís Nunes was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cássio Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Cássio Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano de Queiroz in the 72nd minute of play. The corner led Marzagão's Cleiton Paulista to fire away a dangerous shot which Cássio Gaspar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Neil Mar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Gaspar. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neil Mar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 4-0 became the score in the 78th minute when Fabiano de Queiroz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cássio Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Mar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano de Queiroz came free, but Cássio Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Fabiano de Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 90th minute Fabiano de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano de Queiroz scored 6-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Gaspar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS defense, Neil Mar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Gaspar. The ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Gaspar should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marzagão.
