After a rather tough play, Marzagão's Gilberto Saraiva got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Diego Loche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Marzagão's Remo Borges was substituted for Leonardo Vides. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Neil Mar was the one to do the kick off. Stade Ygossais's Anthony Vaissière played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Mar in the 57th minute of play. Remo Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Eugène Guiguet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Marzagão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugène Guiguet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Eugène Guiguet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Luís Fernandez was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Neil Mar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugène Guiguet in the 70th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Éluard Marcellin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Gand in the 80th minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stade Ygossais fully deserved thier win.
