The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabiano de Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. Desiderio Bieito took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Marzagão's zone, Urbano Eguzki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal and Urbano Eguzki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Gaston Goi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fabiano de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute, Neil Mar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Cleiton Paulista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marzagão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Mukenio the free kick. The supporters of Deportivo Mukenio booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleiton Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball.
