The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Ivo Furtado put in a rough tackle. 20 minutes into the game, one of Capivara FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Filomeno Atarrabi got control of the ball when Fabiano Negri tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Deivid Neiva got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Segundo Tab was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capivara FC the free kick. In the 31st match minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Tab to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Oscar Taurino got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Saturnino Bastia kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Filomeno Atarrabi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Guto Bastos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filomeno Atarrabi. Guto Bastos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvaldo Leal got free with Filomeno Atarrabi in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Edvaldo Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natalio Martxel to strike the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Ibon kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Mateus Rossi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Atarrabi skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guto Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Osvaldo Ibon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Filomeno Atarrabi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filomeno Atarrabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Bastos in the 86th minute of play. Deivid Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
