After 9 minutes Riesgo Cero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdemar Nascimento who took care of the corner kick. 11 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Pesqueira City's Valdemar Nascimento fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Mauro Eliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Nascimento in the 14th minute of the match. Mauro Eliu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Franklin da Fonseca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mauro Eliu, 3-0. Ivo de Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Lia went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Romulo Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo de Moraes having to interfere. Mauro Eliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivo de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Lia in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Pesqueira City's Dráuzio Sergipano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Eliu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 48 minutes of play, Riesgo Cero's Clodoveo Pacho made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clodoveo Pacho was the one to do the kick off. Diego Lia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ivo de Moraes made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Carneiro in the 62nd minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Mauro Eliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Eliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Sergipano in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Pacho came free, but Ivo de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Eliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Riesgo Cero's Mauro Eliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho Alcântara in the 70th minute of play. Mauro Eliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Júlio Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Chiquinho Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Eliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franklin da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Dráuzio Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Eliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Pesqueira City got a freekick which was hit by Rui Pernambucano. Alejo Benitez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivo de Moraes. Pesqueira City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Sergipano in the 85th minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Mauro Eliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Júlio Carneiro notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Riesgo Cero's Mauro Eliu. Mauro Eliu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Júlio Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Eliu having to interfere. Mauro Eliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Pesqueira City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
