After a defensive mix-up in Until Five's zone, Diego Lia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerônimo Araújo came out of the goal and Diego Lia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Riesgo Cero's Diego Lia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerônimo Araújo. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Lia in the 25th minute of play forced Until Five's goalkeeper Jerônimo Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Riesgo Cero's zone, Clóvis Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Eliu came out of the goal and Clóvis Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Clóvis Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eliseo Teyo hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Until Five was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Maia to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Until Five got a freekick which was hit by Régis Baptista.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdir Maia during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Until Five getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Valdir Maia hit a great ball. The Riesgo Cero fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Riesgo Cero's Clodoveo Pacho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 74 minutes in the game, Jerônimo Cunha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mauro Eliu having to interfere. When Clóvis Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Until Five fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Jerônimo Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Clodoveo Pacho came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Riesgo Cero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Pacho couldn't finish the play. After 84 played minutes Until Five got a freekick which was hit by Elder Marinho. Jerônimo Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Pacho in the 89th minute of play. Until Five's Jerônimo Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Sansone in the 91st minute of play. Riesgo Cero's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
