The throw-in from Kléber Garcia in the 2nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Monumento Sports's Ademar Rodrigues. Ivo de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute of the game Kléber Garcia made a throw-in which Yan Netto played forward. In the 9th minute Joel Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ademar Rodrigues during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amadeu Koehler made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Marquinhos Moraes sent off a good shot on target. Amadeu Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Arruda in the 35th minute of play forced Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Ivo de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Monumento Sports's Toninho Arruda made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 47th minute, Giovanni Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yan Netto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toninho Arruda to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Ivo de Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Lopes. Amadeu Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Monumento Sports's Ademar Rodrigues got a free kick in the 57th minute. Amadeu Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Moraes in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Yan Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu Koehler was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Amadeu Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Freitas in the 65th minute of the match. Ivo de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Joel Lopes sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Túlio Freitas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeu Koehler was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Marquinhos Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pesqueira City's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeu Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Netto in the 77th minute of play. If Joel Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Monumento Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Hernani Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Amadeu Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Netto came free, but Amadeu Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Monumento Sports's Gugu Cavalcante got a free kick in the 95th minute.
