Guaberto Cordeiro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. After 5 played minutes Riesgo Cero got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Cordeiro. Timoteo Tomi has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 6th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. Victorino Iban received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauro Eliu came out and tried to block the shot, but Victorino Iban slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Baldomero Frasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Maquina 9-12-18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riesgo Cero the free kick. Baldomero Frasco kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Riesgo Cero were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after La Maquina 9-12-18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alejo Benitez took the corner. Alejo Benitez made a great header on Riesgo Cero's corner, it was just that La Maquina 9-12-18's Claudio Dantel managed to reach the ball for a save. Romulo Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Diego Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Dantel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Lia's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Diego Lia struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Claudio Dantel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riesgo Cero. Tiburcio Sansone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Claudio Dantel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Iban might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Eliu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorino Iban ran back to his position shaking his head. Florentino Izotz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Gualterio Quiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Maquina 9-12-18's zone, Alejo Benitez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Dantel came out of the goal and Alejo Benitez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorino Iban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, La Maquina 9-12-18's Florentino Izotz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Eliu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Eliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Florentino Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Eliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Claudio Dantel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Lia. Riesgo Cero's Mauro Eliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Frasco in the 62nd minute of play. Mauro Eliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Iban, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Florentino Izotz made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Eliu. Riesgo Cero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some careless play in the Riesgo Cero defense, Florentino Izotz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Eliu. The Riesgo Cero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Eliu should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Sansone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riesgo Cero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Maquina 9-12-18 the free kick. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Tiburcio Sansone hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Conrado Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Dantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Conrado Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riesgo Cero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Claudio Dantel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Baldomero Frasco came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the La Maquina 9-12-18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Frasco couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in La Maquina 9-12-18's zone, Conrado Lauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Dantel came out of the goal and Conrado Lauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Diego Lia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Maquina 9-12-18 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
