The KS LEW Chorzów fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when KS LEW Chorzów's Daniel Winnicki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Stefan Hodyl kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niilo Myötänen. That made the score 2-2 in the 24 minute of play. The supporters of Savon Palloseura booed when KS LEW Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Dlugi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Kosti Kukkonen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zachary Pracki skillfully saved the ball. KS LEW Chorzów were furious when Arkadiusz Zworski was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 82nd minute, Savon Palloseura's Kaarle Väätäinen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zachary Pracki. Zachary Pracki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Kuokkanen got free with Zachary Pracki in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The KS LEW Chorzów fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Savon Palloseura were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
