Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dimas Trapiella started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Nicasio Mendebal got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Anselmo Esdras put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Burutzagi Romero. With a little luck, RIVER's Narciso Jerrald got control of the ball when Orlanda Zumiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Feliberto Sadurni fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVER's protests and gave Feliberto Sadurni a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Sadurni. A hard shot 16 in the game by Dimas Trapiella from a close distance when the talented Narciso Jerrald managed to make a qualified save. RIVER's players were relieved. In the 18th minute, Feliberto Sadurni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 minutes, Silvino Arenchen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Municipal and the RIVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narciso Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponciano Bobis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Feliberto Sadurni got a free kick in the 35th minute. Anselmo Esdras scored 1-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Burutzagi Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute Ponciano Bobis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Jerrald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RIVER's Narciso Jerrald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save RIVER from getting a goal against them. After 49 minutes of play, RIVER's Anselmo Esdras made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Burutzagi Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo Esdras to strike the kick off in the second half. CD Municipal's Burutzagi Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Ixaka in the 60th minute of play. Nicasio Mendebal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 62nd playminute. Narciso Jerrald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponciano Bobis in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Silvino Arenchen came free, but Narciso Jerrald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Canor hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Narciso Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlanda Zumiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Dimas Trapiella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Jerrald. RIVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimas Trapiella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Honorato Astigar's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorato Astigar helped the player get up and apologised. Honorato Astigar kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Astigar. RIVER's attentive Samuel Lertxun managed to snatch the ball when Mon Godan made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Anselmo Esdras struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Burutzagi Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIVER. Narciso Jerrald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ponciano Bobis in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ponciano Bobis to maneuver through the defense. Burutzagi Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Nofre in the 95th minute. Narciso Jerrald came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Ponciano Bobis. But to his dismay, Ponciano Bobis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. RIVER's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
