With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigvard Wallander in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinei Carvalho saved Metolokos MZ Clube from getting behind. Axel Strandberg charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 22nd minute Raimundo Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Örjan Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Wargön fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 90 played minutes, Metolokos MZ Clube's Luiz Fernando Lira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Örjan Söderström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Metolokos MZ Clube reached it. Wargön's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
