The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when ADCR Loreto United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Gusmão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Fred Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SeleSantos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ADCR Loreto United FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of SeleSantos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ADCR Loreto United FC:s goal. In the 22nd minute, Teófilo Caneira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADCR Loreto United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 39th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitinho Pirani to maneuver through the defense.
