C. fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when SORRISO E. C.'s Alberto Mendonça looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Horácio Pereira hit a great ball. Douglas Viana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kyriakos Tsiantakis in the 23rd minute. Bruninho Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Emiliano Martínez Gullotta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Yan Penha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kyriakos Tsiantakis came free, but Douglas Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GREEN PANTHERS FC ☘️ fans cheered their team off the field, for while SORRISO E. C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
