The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cícero Baiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 8th match minute, Barrialito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Tab to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes Barrialito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Kelemen. Guillermo Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cícero Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Maldonado in the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Barrialito AFC's Urbano Claude got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 45th match minute, Barrialito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Santana in the 46th minute of play forced Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Alvaro Rik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Barrialito AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
