Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenny Forsberg in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrea Cilia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Andrea Cilia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenny Forsberg in the 55th minute. Andrea Cilia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Örtendahl in the 56th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Attard Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Neil Lia. In the 82nd minute, Dan Grönberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Robert Gera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pontus Lindström was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the game, Anthony Salamone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Attard Gunners's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Degerfors IF the free kick. After 92 played minutes Attard Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Neil Lia. Degerfors IF played a much better game than Attard Gunners and deserved their victory. The Attard Gunners players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
