In the 21st match minute, ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petrică Bulă to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Petrică Bulă managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Petrică Bulă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francesco Miggiani charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francesco Miggiani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Francesco Miggiani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Kevin Delia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Cluceru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Neil Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Silviu Barascu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Silviu Barascu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s Silviu Barascu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani was a little too slow when Viorel Stănciulaş got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
With a little luck, ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s Călin Cluceru got control of the ball when Neil Lia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viorel Stănciulaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francesco Miggiani kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Gera in the 60th minute of play forced ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s goalkeeper Călin Cluceru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Petrică Bulă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shaun Magri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Călin Cluceru made a huge save. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Stănciulaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Attard Gunners getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Angelo Incorvaia hit a great ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Petrică Bulă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Petrică Bulă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Stănciulaş in the 79th minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Shaun Cassar Torreggiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Stănciulaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Attard Gunners's Edward Ganado got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ defense, Kevin Delia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Călin Cluceru. The ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Călin Cluceru should have stopped the shot.
