Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Humberto Maore started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Cristobal Frances notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Fernandez. Zé Paulo Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 7 played minutes Werneck FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Breno Zonta. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Maore got free with Zé Paulo Fernandez in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvestre Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Toledo in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Cristobal Frances had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Paulo Fernandez. Werneck FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristobal Frances was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 34 played minutes Stat Veritas FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Mede. In the 35th minute Virgílio Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Frances in the 39th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Breno Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Cristobal Frances hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caco Corrêa to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caco Corrêa got free with Silvestre Fernandez in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 55 minutes of play, Stat Veritas FC's Humberto Maore made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Paulo Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Caco Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Werneck FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco Corrêa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caco Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Silvestre Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Lixandro's late challenge caught a Werneck FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Lixandro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Werneck FC - DMZ booed when Stat Veritas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Lixandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Humberto Maore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Stat Veritas FC's Silvestre Fernandez got control of the ball when Caco Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 4-1 became the score in the 78th minute when Caco Corrêa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Humberto Maore came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Stat Veritas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Maore couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Frantzes in the 85th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Stat Veritas FC booed when Werneck FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Lara seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zé Paulo Lara the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Werneck FC - DMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zé Paulo Lara had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Zé Paulo Lara hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Zé Paulo Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Maore in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stat Veritas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Werneck FC - DMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
